Ip Man 2008

I have just watched Ip Man. Before this I was curious which is the proper way of pronouncing the title. Some pronounced it as “I-P MAN” and some said it as “Eep Man”. For those of you who have watched the movie, you will know that the real pronounciation is actually “Yip Man”.

I won’t reveal much about the scene in the movie as some of you might not have watch the movie yet. So go and check it out yourself if you want to know more about the storyline. Overall, I would say that I am satisfied with the whole movie. I give a thumbs-up on the actions choreographed. I enjoyed all the fight scene showed in the movie as it was shot in details and no so much of camera tricks.

For the gals who do not fancy much on a martial arts movie, not to worry much. There are a few scenes which is quite hilarious. Besides, some of the scene have some sentimental value in it too. It did touch a lil’ bit about the history of China when it was invaded by Japan.

To compare this movie against Jet Li’s Fearless ((霍元甲 Huo Yuan Jia) which both also talked about legendary figther, Ip Man is much better.

If you want to find out more, check out the trailer of Ip Man here.

Oh by the way, the picture below is the real Ip Man who spread the arts of Wing Chun openly. And guess what? Bruce Lee is also one of his students! If you want to know more about the history if Ip Man and Wing Chun, you can go to the following sites:

Splurgeeeee

Just got back from Pavillion. Got myself a tote bag from Forever 21 which I really satisfied and baby bought me a pair of Nike shoes in “gold”. LOL! But trust me, it’s really comfy.

Charles & Keith are having sales too. Did hop in to try on a pair of heels which I like. But too bad, the size is a lil’ bit too big for me even it’s the smallest one. So ladies, drop by to Charles & Keith, they got discount up to 50% which is damn worth it!

Collection of handphones that I have used from the very first one till the latest that I am using now. Bet it will bring back some old memories to you =P

Motorola Micro Tac - My very first gigantic handphone.
(Old phone inherited from my dad, lolz!)

Nokia 5110 -  I get it from my mom when she changed hers to a new one.

Alcatel One Touch Easy - I got it free from dunno where, can’t recall.
Was attracted to its color, but not really a good phone, coz very bulky.

Ericsson GF768 - Mine was in yellow. My fav color! =D
Was very famous & glamourous during my time. It came in many colors.

Siemens C25 - I don’t really fancy this phone.

Nokia 3310 - I used it for a very short period before I passed it to my mom.
Like it coz can change the cover to various designs.

Nokia 8210 - My favourite phone coz of its size. Used to hang it around my neck.
Really like this phone so much. Too bad, it got stolen in Lot 10 MNG =(

Nokia 6510 - My phone after Nokia 8210.
I missed my 8210 so much although I was using this phone.

Nokia 6610 - My so-called first glamorous phone with color & polyphonic ringtone!

Nokia N73 - My first symbian phone which always hang till I got pissed!

Nokia 6300 - A surprise gift from my baby!
Was a great relief coz I can sold off my problematic N73!

Nokia 5610 - My current phone which is also a gift from him.
Mine is blue in color.

These were some of the handphones that I have used (which I can recall-lah). Planning for a change soon. Hehe. Planning stage only! *Hint-Hint*
